Description

AASHTO T 240 – Standard Method of Test for Effect of Heat and Air on a Moving Film of Asphalt (Rolling Thin-Film Oven Test) (ASTM Designation: D 2872-04)

This test is used to measure the effect of heat and air on a moving film of semi-solid asphalt materials. The effects of this treatment are determined from measurements of the properties of the asphalt before and after the test.
